Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Opnr's AI-powered dating opener generator service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Opnr provides an AI-powered platform that generates personalized conversation openers for dating applications. Our Service includes:

• AI-driven analysis of dating profiles using GPT-4o technology
• Generation of personalized conversation starters
• Profile screening and compatibility insights
• Access to our web application and mobile app (when available)
• Free and Pro subscription tiers with different usage limits

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Opnr. By creating an account, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into this agreement.

3.2 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• We use Supabase OAuth for secure authentication
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm the Service or other users.

4. Free & Pro Plans

4.1 Usage Limits

Free accounts are limited to 10 opener generations per calendar month. Pro accounts have unlimited generations. Usage limits reset on the first day of each month.

4.2 Plan Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, or usage limits with 30 days' notice to existing users. Price changes do not affect current billing cycles for Pro subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate others
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or conduct mass outreach campaigns
• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Circumvent usage limits or payment systems
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimers

6.1 No Guaranteed Results

Opnr uses AI to generate conversation openers, but we do not guarantee that any generated content will result in responses, matches, or successful interactions. AI-generated suggestions are recommendations only.

6.2 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated openers. You should:

• Review all generated content before sending it
• Personalize suggestions to match your communication style
• Ensure content is appropriate for the recipient and context
• Comply with the terms of service of third-party dating platforms

6.3 Content Accuracy

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, biases, or inappropriate suggestions. We continuously improve our AI models but cannot guarantee perfection. Report problematic outputs to support@opnr.app.

6.4 Third-Party Platform Compliance

Opnr is not affiliated with Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, or any other dating platform. Using our Service to violate the terms of service of those platforms is prohibited and may result in account termination.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Opnr's IP

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and AI models, is owned by Opnr and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

7.2 User Content

You retain ownership of any profile data you submit. By using the Service, you grant Opnr a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of generating openers.

7.3 Generated Content

You have the right to use AI-generated openers for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell or redistribute generated content as part of a competing service.

8. Payment & Billing

8.1 Pro Plan Subscription

Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly at $9/month. Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as available.

8.2 Automatic Renewal

Your Pro subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

8.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain Pro access until that date.

8.4 Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 7 days of your initial Pro subscription purchase if you have generated fewer than 50 openers. After 7 days or 50 openers, all payments are final. Subscription renewals are non-refundable.

8.5 Payment Processing

Payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opnr shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Dating outcomes, relationship results, or social interactions
• Inappropriate, inaccurate, or offensive AI-generated content
• Violations of third-party platform terms of service
• Service interruptions, bugs, or technical issues

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using the account deletion feature. Upon termination, your access to the Service will end immediately.

10.2 Termination by Opnr

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

• You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Your account shows signs of fraudulent activity
• You engage in abusive behavior toward other users or our team
• Required by law or legal process

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you will cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including liability limitations, intellectual property provisions, and dispute resolution).

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Service and may terminate your account.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will first be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
